Brocade Layering Jumper

Okay, so I had seen this online and in some of the print material and thought, I don't know if this will be a good dress for me. I thought that I would be washed out since I am so pale. I didn't even think to try it. Then I went to return some items at the Pentagon City store and saw that it was hanging in the dressing room area styled up with shirt and necklace. I checked and it was my size, thought, It wouldn't hurt if I tried it on. It looked INCREDIBLE! I can't believe that I doubted myself. That beign said that I am very hourglass shaped and it hyper accentuates that feature of my body type. The black stretchy fabric makes it easier to zip up by myself, but it is still a bit of a struggle. I wore it out for a night on the town and put on shapewear underneath more because the waist fabric was SLIGHTLY itchy. Otherwise it is a fabulous dress. If you have very large breasts, the top my squish them just a tad, but seriously, the way the dress highlights the waist is amazing. Also, can we talk about the foil detail on the floral? Love it!

I LOVED this dress.... the material, the colors, the cut. So beautiful. Unfortunately, the back did this weird bunchy thing down toward the belt. I went up a size and down a size and it still bunched. Such bummer!

I wore this dress to my 40th high school reunion, and it was a big hit. I got compliments all night. I am 5'4" tall and a 38DD, and I weigh about 200 pounds. I have a generous pear shape. The fit is extremely flattering. One problem: The top droops a bit, so I had to pin up the straps (I wore a black cardigan over the dress). I assume this would not be an issue for a taller person.
