ELOQUII is a direct to consumer fashion business, designing trend-driven, fashion apparel in sizes 14-28. We are a privately-owned, fast-growing company based in both New York and Columbus, Ohio.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Eloquii is seeking a senior developer who can lead the effort of deriving business value from data, and making data more available to Eloquii associates and business partners. You'll lead business-critical initiatives that center on analyzing large volumes of data. Internal constituents include the Eloquii marketing team, the merchant team, data scientist and others who have an insatiable desire for data and data-centered decision making.

You'll work closely with these teams to understand the questions they're trying to answer, problems they're trying to solve, and opportunities they're trying to exploit, and translate those needs into operational data systems. You'll work closely with other developers to understand source data and the business processes they support, and to devise end-to-end data lifecycles that span operational and analytical systems. You'll help define technical standards and drive the architectural agenda regarding data and related topics. You will have a strong voice in product and ownership over coding, QA, and production support. This position requires a strong mix of architecture / design thinking and hands-on-keyboard tool / code development.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience developing and supporting software systems with special emphasis on big/ complex data and deriving meaning from data. S/he is a strong individual contributor with strong quantitative, analytical, strategic thinking and problem solving skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver data-centric solutions usable by a wide variety of user roles
  • Analyze, understand and exploit the data produced by existing Eloquii and partner systems
  • Design, develop, test and maintain a coherent family of relational and non-relational databases
  • Full understanding of data lifecycle including special tools & techniques required for big data
  • Relational database experience is a must – analysis, modeling, logical & physical design, tuning.
  • Significant Python development experience is a must. Additional development tools are a plus
  • Design solutions and technical specs. Develop solutions or supervise outsourced development
  • Experience with big data tools generally and ETL tools / data lifecycle tools specifically is a must
  • Experience with end-user reporting tools is a must. (Best if it's the solution we use: Tableau)
  • Work with business users to ensure understanding of business process and proper implementation in software.
  • Ensure software follows best practices from a coding, testing and performance perspective.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

  • 4+ Years of hands-on development in Python.

Sr. Accountant

POSITION SUMMARY:

ELOQUII is a vertically integrated e-commerce destination for contemporary, fast fashion sizes 14-28. We bring the trends and designs from the runways and pop culture to our customer, working on a compressed design cycle and dropping new styles every week.

Reporting to the VP of Finance, this position will support ELOQUII’s financial operations and reporting. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years’ experience in public accounting and/or a large company. The Sr. Accountant is responsible for moderate to advanced accounting activities relating to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger and the resultant managerial reports and financial statements for ELOQUII.


EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES::

  • Applies working knowledge of accounting principles and practices, financial close processes and controls and financial statement preparation to daily work
  • Applies knowledge and judgement of accounting practices in the preparation of financial statements
  • Complete monthly close process in a timely fashion, including journal entries, accruals, cash receipts, account reconciliations, etc.
  • Collectively perform timely bank reconciliations, booking transactions and filing necessary receipts and back-up documentation
  • Book and record bank deposits, work with credit card transactions
  • Support and participate in quarter and year-end analysis, certification, and reporting activities
  • Manage the accounts payable process
  • Help ensure appropriate internal controls are in place and working as defined
  • Help identify improvement opportunities and support company growth initiatives
  • Interact with business partners and vendors as needed

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced accounting team; retail a plus
  • CPA and/or MBA a plus
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, including pivot tables and v-lookups, a must
  • Desire to seek out and implement process improvements to drive team’s efficiency
  • Ability to multitask and deliver on a high volume of projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with clients and vendors
  • Upbeat personality with a real thirst for learning

We are looking for passionate sales leads who will help bring our eCommerce experience to life in a physical space. An ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and fashion; they are up to date with the latest product trends, benefits and competitive landscape and are excited to share that with customers. In addition, the sales lead is also required to contribute to a positive work environment that is fun, professional and team oriented. Sales leads will help create a fun, personalized and memorable environment to shop in. When the store manager or assistant manager are not present in the store, the sales lead acts as the Manager on Duty.

Customer Experience Representative - Part Time
