Important sales tax information for Vermont purchasers regarding the tax you may owe directly to your state:

We are not required to, and do not, collect Vermont sales tax. Under Vermont law, purchases are not tax-exempt merely because they were made over the Internet or because a seller is not required to collect Vermont tax. Vermont law requires purchasers to review untaxed purchases and if any tax is owed, file a Vermont use tax return and pay any tax due.
