Tie Blazer

Great basic jacket! The flounce makes it dressy, but it works for 9-5 and going out. Great structure and tailoring. I wish the closure had one extra hook and eye, but otherwise it's great. The length was perfect and the viola fit made it so it laid nicely over hips and butt - not easy for a tall curvy girl like me!

Almost everything about this blazer is perfection. It fits well, if not generous, throughout shoulders, chest and hips. I love the classic black and was so very excited to have a well made, quality blazer again. So the only issue I have? What and how are you supposed to wear it with the built-in ruffle at the front waist? I've attempted a few variations and it just feels weird and very obviously sticks out like a sore thumb on me.

Beautiful quality, very well made. The shoulders are a perfect fit and the sleeves are an ideal length but the hip measurement was too small. If you are 1 size bigger in the hips this jacket would be just right. If you are 2 sizes bigger in the hips or in the upper limit of the measurements I would recommend going up a size, the best measurement may be a bit large but at least the jacket would fit better over the hips. Just not enough fabric over the hips for me. Disappointed because it is a gorgeous jacket.

This blazer is amazing! The fit is great and the blazer stays together with a hook and eye closure where the button would be, plus the ruffle detail loops through a little opening. The ruffle detail is feminine without being over the top or too distracting. I was able to size down when compared to traditional sizing because this new amazing fit (Viola) actually fits my hips. I would usually have to size up so things would fit my hips and then tailor them to fit my smaller chest. Now I don't have to do that and I am so happy!

What a classy and dressy blazer!! I purchased this on line in a size larger due to the fact my size was all sold out. I am happy I did because all I had to do was have my tailor shorten up the sleeves and I will be able to throw it on with a sweater underneath when the weather turns cool. The body of it does run on the smaller side so consider that when ordering. I wore it dressed down- much like the picture on line- down to the distressed jeans. I got a few compliments and ladies asking where I purchased it from. The only issue I have had (other than the tailoring) is that the hook closure doesn't work that well, but the tie in part helps keep it together. The little 'tie' makes the blazer look that much sharper, and gives it a special look from your everyday blazer. I also waited until it was on a super sale, which helped with the cost to have it tailored. Gotta love a great sale!!!

I really wanted to love this blazer, but it's not great to be honest. The fit is nice, but the fabric is a little strange, very stiff and scratchy. I was expecting traditional blazer material so this one is going back.
